Customer Reviews
How did Bambe diapers perform in practice?
We are bringing you authentic customer reviews from parents who have tried Bambe diapers on their own skin - or rather, on the skin of their little ones. 😊

Papa Martin
6,5 kg - Size MWe had the opportunity to try Bambe diapers. I like the clean yet gentle design of the diapers. I appreciate that they are fragrance-free and don’t irritate sensitive baby skin.
Our baby has been in cloth diapers since birth, and we only use disposables for car trips. His bottom is very sensitive to the "chemicals" in traditional disposable diapers (which causes noticeable redness in that area). However, after using Bambe diapers, we didn’t notice any issues.
We tried size M (for babies from 5 to 10 kg). We feel though that even though he weighs 6.5 kg, they are still quite big on him.

9,5 kg - Size LThe diapers fit well, and the size matches the indicated range. We had size L (9-14 kg), and it’s a bit loose on Amélie. Amy weighs 9.66 kg, so I assume the diaper would fit up to 14 kg comfortably. She only pooped in it a few times, and not excessively, but the elastic cuffs easily contained normal stools. Sometimes I didn’t even know she had pooped. This happens to me with cloth diapers too- if she’s not eating particularly aromatic foods, I sometimes don’t notice until changing.
Fastening the diaper felt fine; you can secure it so it stays in place and doesn’t leak, and the waistband doesn’t loosen. The diaper doesn’t fall apart or behave oddly. Absorbency is great; I tried it several times overnight, and it held up well each time. Unfortunately, on the first night, the diaper smelled from the first wetting, but it was fine on subsequent nights. During the day, I didn’t notice any odor. Since we usually use only cloth diapers, I’m quite sensitive to the smell of disposables 😃 Since the first night, we had no issues though.
Overall, it’s an ideal companion for us to supplement on trips.

15 kg - Size XLThe diapers have very nice packaging and design - so much so that it would be a deciding factor when choosing over other brands.
They have a very pleasant surface, softer than commonly available disposable diapers.
Size XL fits well on a 15 kg child, but the absence of elastic bands at the waist makes fastening a bit tricky. You need to fasten the diaper quite tightly (tighter than others), as it loosens a bit when worn. The first night, I didn’t know this, and the diaper leaked in the front at the waist. But afterward, it held up well.
The absorbent core has good capacity, but it doesn’t channel liquid all the way to the back of the diaper - diapers of some other brands handle this better. The diapers are thin and remain soft between the legs even after absorbing liquid. They fit nicely on the bottom and don’t sag between the knees. The leg cuffs held securely, didn’t pinch the child (who has quite chubby thighs), and reliably contained even loose stools.
Since we mostly use cloth diapers, I enjoy trying different disposable ones. I have experience with about six other disposable diaper brands. Most have elastic bands at the waist, making fastening easier. Only two brands though have a higher absorbent capacity than Bambe. However, they are thicker and not as pleasantly thin as Bambe. An empty Bambe diaper is almost invisible under tights.
Overall, I found them easy to use. The biggest drawback is the lack of elastic at the waist and the seemingly limited night capacity - though this is likely just a subjective impression, as they never leaked on us at night.
Thank you for sending them; we’d be happy to order and continue using them.
